2M Japanese Yen awarded to each winner

 

 

Application period: November 1st, 2024 to January 10th (by 5pm JST), 2025

 

The Kobayashi Foundation Award will be given to the outstanding researchers and medical teams who have made remarkable social contributions in the field of cancer chemotherapy in Asian countries except Japan.

Part 1   Award to Researchers

 

• For researchers who conducted distinguished research and made remarkable contributions, developments, and/or achievements for oncology or cancer chemotherapy in their own country, except Japan.

 

• One or two researchers will be awarded a monetary prize of 2,000,000 Japanese yen each.

 

 

Part 2   Award to the medical teams composed of healthcare professionals

 

• For medical teams composed of healthcare professionals (e.g. medical doctors, nurses, pharmacists, medical educators, etc.) who made remarkable contributions developments and/or achievements for oncology or cancer chemotherapy in their own countries.

 

• The applicant (representative person) must be at age 50 years or younger as of January 10th, 2025.

 

• One or two medical teams will be awarded a monetary prize of 2,000,000 Japanese yen each.

How to Apply

 

Download the application form from the website of the Kobayashi Foundation for Cancer Research, and fill out the form in English. with a recommendation from your institutional leader. Upload the application in PDF and MS Word format with the recommendation from your institutional leader on the website.

 

Please, be aware that the application form “Part 1” is for the researchers and the application form “Part 2” is for the medical teams composed of healthcare professionals.
